I work with opera singers and specialize in the Italian operatic repertoire, offering tailored coaching that combines language, musicality, and performance preparation. Lessons focus on developing a deeper understanding of the music and text through careful attention to diction, phrasing, expression, emotion, and stylistic interpretation. Whether you are preparing an aria, a complete role, an audition, or a recital programme, I provide detailed guidance to help bring both the music and the character to life. As a pianist, I can learn and accompany your repertoire during our sessions, allowing us to rehearse together in a practical and supportive environment. My aim is to help singers to develop confidence, artistic freedom, and a strong connection to both the music and the story they are telling.
Piano Teaching
I have been teaching both in school and privately and I teach students of all ages, from young beginners to adults, and I believe that every student deserves an individual approach. No two musicians learn in the same way, so I tailor each lesson to the student’s age, level, goals, and personality. My teaching style is supportive, encouraging, and motivating. I strive to create a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable, confident, and inspired to develop their musical skills. I also prepare students for ABRSM examinations, providing structured guidance while maintaining a genuine enjoyment of music-making. Alongside technical development, I encourage musical expression, creativity, and confidence at the piano.
In addition to coaching and rehearsal work, I am also available as a pianist for performances, concerts, auditions, examinations, opera productions, recitals, private events, and other musical engagements. I offer professional accompaniment whether you require a collaborative pianist for a single event or ongoing preparation leading up to a performance
